Wallenberg Hall is located on the front of Stanford University’s Main Quadrangle (map). Two main freeways, north and south Interstate 280 and U.S. Highway 101, link Wallenberg Hall to San Francisco, San Jose and their airports.
Directions to Wallenberg Hall
From the East Bay:
Take 880 SOUTH (direction San Jose) to CA-92 WEST (direction Half Moon Bay) to U.S. 101 SOUTH (direction San Jose) and follow directions below.
From San Francisco International Airport:
Take U.S. 101 SOUTH (directions toward San Jose) and follow directions below.
From San Jose International Airport:
Take U.S. Highway 101 North (directions toward San Francisco) and follow directions below.
From U.S. 101:
Take the University Avenue exit West, toward Palo Alto/Stanford. Continue straight on University Avenue crossing over El Camino Real, which then turns into Palm Drive. Follow Palm till it ends on the Oval. Wallenberg Hall (Building 160) is on the left side of the front of the Quad.
From Interstate 280:
Take Alpine Road exit East (toward Palo Alto/Stanford) to Junipero Serra Boulevard. Turn right on Junipero Serra, left at the first stoplight onto Campus Drive West. Follow Campus Drive West to Roth Way. Make a right on Roth Way, anf follow it to Pal Drive. Make a right turn on Palm Drive and follow it to the top of the Oval. Wallenberg Hall (Building 160) is on the left side of the front of the Quad.
Parking
Visitors have several payment options for parking:
* $1.50/hour coin-metered (M) spaces located throughout the campus
* One-day "Visitor" scratcher permits (which allow parking in Pay & Display lots and at meters (M)), available for $12 each at the P&TS office (open weekdays 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.). We have a limited number of these available for purchase in advance. Please contact us by email for assistance.

- Memorial Way (near Memorial Auditorium)
- at the Track House
- at Hoover Pavilion
You may purchase up to 8 hours of parking. The machines accept credit cards, cash or coins; You should have the correct amount of money if you do not use your credit card, since these machines do not issue change. The receipt should be placed on the car dashboard with the expiration time and date facing up.
The closest visitor parking available is in Parking Structure 1(on the corner of Campus Drive West and Serra Mall) and on Museum Way (off Palm Drive).
Shuttle
The Marguerite is Stanford’s free shuttle that will take you around campus and directly to downtown Palo Alto and the Stanford Shopping Center.
